Graves County’s ninth annual Cram the Cruiser drive is collecting donations throughout November for three local community organizations.

The Sheriff’s Office is rotating a cruiser among participating Dollar General locations so residents can contribute close to home.

On November 3–4, the collection stop is Lynnville’s store at 3615 State Route 94 East.

The next stops are 1007 Cuba Road in Mayfield on November 5–6 and 16597 State Route 45 South in Water Valley on November 7–8.

Requested donations include new, unopened, nonperishable food such as chili, beef stew, peanut butter, tuna, chicken, cereal, and vegetables.

Food will support the Mayfield-Graves County Need Line & Food Pantry.

Toys will go to Community Christmas Connection, with organizers encouraging gifts for middle- and high-school-age students as well as younger children.

Cleaning and hygiene supplies will benefit A New Beginning for Women and Children.

Different kinds of donations meet different household needs, giving residents several ways to participate.

The rotating collection schedule continues through November 30.

Confirm the current stop with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office before dropping off items.
